About OE.
Nancy Jones is a technology specialist with several decades of experience working with computers, servers, user and device accounts, and cybersecurity. She holds the following industry certifications: CompTIA A+ (computer repair and maintenance), CompTIA Network+ (network hardware and systems), CompTIA Security+ (system security), Apple Hardware and Operating Systems, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Azure Fundamentals, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP, an industry gold standard certification).
She’s a mother and a grandmother, sister, aunt, wife — and empty-nester. Once the last one left home to start his own adult adventure, she finally found time to write her book, Your Data, Your Devices, and You: Easy-to-Follow Instructions to Reduce Your Risk of Data Loss, Device Infection, and Identity Theft (available at Amazon in Kindle and paperback formats). She’s a semi-professional photographer and freelance writer for other publications. In her spare time (!), she enjoys reading and textile arts (sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, and quilting).
